The basis of this course is to encourage students through the exploration and experimentation of ranging material options and technique applications. From fiber to printmaking and everything in between students will learn how to make the technical approach to their work conceptually intentional.
A special focus will be placed on guiding students through the development of a conceptual theme in their work. Students will leave this course with more confidence in their process and with a broader understanding of all the possibilities at hand.
This accelerated course is comprised of 5 instructional sessions and 5 guided open working days. These guided sessions offer valuable time for students to further develop and complete their projects, experiment with techniques, and nurture their artistic process beyond class time.
This course is open to anyone who loves to create, whether you're a beginner or looking to build your portfolio. We welcome all students, regardless of experience or skill level.
