Young artists will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of media & materials to create unique and original works of art inspired by the natural world. This summer, we will explore traditional artmaking techniques in combination with recycled materials & found objects. We will paint portraits of our favorite animals, sculpt & decorate kindness stones for friends & family. 
 
Join other young artists as we create and learn together while fostering an appreciation for art, sustainability, and the natural world in a safe, affirming environment. 
 
About the Instructor: 
Maritza Lezama is a practicing artist & Refuge Alum and studying Fine Arts and Art Therapy at MCC.
