Marie Fidrych, originally from Nashua, NH, currently resides in the greater Lowell area. She received her Bachelors of Science in Interior Design and a certificate in Facilities Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology and her Masters in the Arts of Teaching through Tufts University.
Marie is a designer and artist that gravitates towards functional, organic, folk inspired projects. She enjoys designing, creating, making and has a private studio at Western Avenue to continue to stay connected and grow with the amazing arts community that is in and around Lowell.
Her work with Refuge Lowell supports her love for the Lowell arts community and inspires her to advocate the necessity of arts as an essential tool in a strong visual and social understanding of our world. As an educator Marie has taught art in a variety of settings from elementary to middle school and private tutoring of children and adults and continues to teach In Lowell Public Schools as a middle school arts educator.
