Howard Amidon

Chair of Advisory Board

Howard Amidon joined the Greater Lowell Community Foundation in 2018 as Vice President for Philanthropy. He works with individuals, families and businesses to help them achieve their philanthropic goals, and to deepen the Foundation’s impact in the 21 communities it serves. He is currently a co-chair of Mosaic Lowell, the next cultural economy plan for Lowell. He also serves as chair of the Advisory Board for Refuge Art School.

Previously, he served for 8 years as the Dean of Development at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA. Prior to Montserrat, Amidon worked for premier arts organizations including Boston Ballet, Boston Symphony, and New England Conservatory of Music. 

He lives in North Andover with his wife Lisa and Perry the wonder dog.
